Exam Venues

Location of in-person exams 

The University expects all students to be available for their in-person timetabled exams which will take place at the University’s Whiteknights and London Road campuses. 

Please refer to your personal timetable published on the RISIS for details of where you need to go for each exam as a specific building will be stated under the ‘Location.’   

Exam Venues 

The London Road Campus Exam Centres are: 

  • The Great Hall
  • Building L22
  • Building L33

The Whiteknights Campus Exam Centres are: 

  • Palmer Building (labelled no. 26 on map; grid reference C4) 
  • Chancellor's Building (labelled no. 259 on map; grid reference C3)
  • The Edith Morley Building (labelled no. 1 on map; grid reference C3 / C4)

Special Arrangements 

If you have special arrangements that were approved or updated during the creation of the exam timetable, the location of your in-person exam as shown on your timetable may no longer be correct. If the location has changed you will have received an email from our Special Arrangements examination team, confirming your new details. If you are unsure whether your exam location has changed, please contact examinations@reading.ac.uk.
