BA German and Economics

Description:
Germany is the third largest economy in the world, and businesses are looking for graduates in German with other specialist skills. Students taking this degree combination will develop both a good knowledge and appreciation of the fundamental elements of economic theory and its applications and a high level of proficiency in German language and German-speaking culture. Students will also have the option of working on placements with German or Austrian firms during their year abroad and will take specially designed German for Business modules in years 2 and 4.

UCAS Tariff:

BBB/ABC from three A level subjects. Total points exclude Key Skills and General Studies.

Subjects: Grade B in A level or grade A* at GCSE in German or other Modern Foreign Language.

GCSE Mathematics grade B and English grade B are also required. International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma and achieve 6,5,5 in three higher level subjects (and 5 in minimum Standard Level German)
