Information for graduates
Staying in touch
We hope that after Graduation you will want to keep in touch with the University, and with other former students. All former students are known as 'alumni' and the University will keep in touch with you via the Development & External Affairs Office. Please inform the Development & External Affairs Office if your address changes: you can either complete the
online 'Add or amend your details' form or email
alumni@reading.ac.uk.
As a graduate, you will receive a copy of the University of Reading Magazine twice a year.
The Friends of the University of Reading
The Friends of the University of Reading was founded in 1927 to foster contact between the University and those interested in its educational goals, its history, its current activities and its future development. It aims to raise funds through subscriptions and contributions to enable the University to undertake initiatives outside its core activities of teaching and research.
For more information on membership, projects funded and the varied programme of events, visit The Friends of the University of Reading website or email: thefriends@reading.ac.uk.
Careers Advisory Service
The Careers Advisory Service (CAS) offers a full range of information and advisory services to graduates including in-depth careers guidance, CV checking and job vacancy information. If you have moved away from Reading, you can still get help by using the Advice by Email service. Visit the
Careers Advisory Service website for more information.
