Institute for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research

MRI Facility

busserv_techserv_scannerThe MRI Facility offers a state of the art suite equipped with a Siemens 3T whole body scanner and a full range of coils.

The facility is designed as a dual purpose research or medical suite. We offer a full range of expertise in both structural and functional imaging.

In conjunction with the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics we can also offer other brain registration and behavioural technologies such as:

  • Electroencephalography
  • Near Infrared Spectroscopy
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
  • Eye-tracking, combined with sophisticated computational modelling and data analysis.

Pest Control Unit

busserv_techserv_pestThe Vertebrate Pests Unit provides expertise in all aspects of Vertebrate pest management and control, with an accredited facility for research and development, and ORETO Certification through the Pesticide Safety Directorate (an Agency of the Health and Safety Executive) for regulatory data generation.
