The Next Phase

Background

In 2010 The University of Reading secured £15k Benefits Realisation (BR) funding to ensure wider dissemination of the outputs from the JISC-funded ASSET project. The official end date for the BR funding was 31st March 2011, although a range of dissemination activities have taken place beyond this date.

Establishment of a Wider Media-Enhanced Feedback Team

One of the first tasks related to the BR funding was to bring together a wider project team from across the UK. To achieve this, an initial project meeting was held on 3rd June 2010 at the University of Reading, bringing together the following individuals to discuss and plan subsequent BR-funded activities:

  • Professor Julian Park (University of Reading) (Joint project PI)
  • Dr Anne Crook (University of Reading) (Joint project PI)
  • Dr Karsten Lundqvist (University of Reading)
  • Dr Stephen Maw (HEA Centre for Bioscience, Leeds)
  • Professor Stephen Gomez (University of Plymouth)
  • Dr Paul Orsmond (Staffordshire University)
  • Dr Rod Cullen (Manchester Metropolitan University)
  • Dr Jon Scott (Leicester University)
  • Dr Andrew Middleton (Sheffield Hallam University/Media Enhanced Learning Special Interest Group, MEL-SIG)
  • Paul Bailey (JISC Support Project)
