If you have a Firm or Insurance offer for an undergraduate course at the University of Reading, this information will guide you through the next steps in the admissions process.
On Thursday 15 August, you can check the status of your UCAS application with your Firm and Insurance choices. Your status will update with one of the following:
Unconditional – Firm choice with Reading |
Congratulations! We've been able to accept you onto your chosen course at Reading. We’ll email you more information in the next few weeks. |
Unconditional – Insurance choice with Reading |
If you haven't met the conditions of your Firm choice but have met the conditions with Reading as your Insurance choice, congratulations! We’ve been able to accept you onto your chosen course. We'll email you more information in the next few weeks. |
Conditional (no change) – Firm choice with Reading |
If your offer is still showing as conditional, please do not worry – we may be waiting on additional documents, or there may be delays in information provided by UCAS. We will provide a reason for this for as many unconfirmed applicants as possible. |
Unsuccessful – Firm and/or Insurance choice with Reading |
Unfortunately, you have not met the conditions of your offer, so we have had to withdraw your place. |
If you are unsure whether we receive your results directly from UCAS or whether you need to send them to us, check UCAS to see which results we receive automatically. If your qualification(s) aren't on the list, you must scan and email them to us at applicantresults@reading.ac.uk.
