What is a shared bathroom?
Defined gender bathrooms: the bathrooms within Wantage and Windsor Hall have defined gender bathrooms within the hall corridors.
If you are looking for the traditional halls experience, a room with a shared bathroom is a great choice. You'll share kitchen and bathroom facilities with six to 10 other students. Choose from a standard room, an upgraded room or a luxurious premium room. Many rooms include a washbasin.
If you'd rather live in a house rather than a hall of residence, our townhouses on campus might be the best choice. Each house splits 12 rooms over three floors, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms on each floor. The ground floor of each house features a large modern kitchen, a lounge and a dining room.
An excellent choice for all budgets, standard rooms with shared bathrooms are available in several of our halls of residence. Many of these halls also include a personal washbasin within the room. You will share fully equipped, modern bathrooms and kitchen with six to ten other students in a traditional corridor style arrangement.
Rooms of this type at St. George's and Wessex Hall all include personal washbasins and have recently been upgraded. More details on upgraded rooms are available on the pages of individual halls.
