En-suite rooms


En-suite rooms offer a high standard of accommodation in modern, well-appointed buildings.

You will share modern, well-appointed kitchen facilities with between five and twelve other students, In each flat, there is a spacious and pleasant shared living area for students to socialise in.

You can choose to stay in a standard en-suite room or upgrade to a premium en-suite room. With a 4ft-wide bed and spacious kitchens, premium en-suite rooms are an ideal place to eat and socialise with flatmates.

en-suite rooms

Our en-suite rooms offer a comfortable, well-equipped bedroom with fitted furniture, shelving units and an en-suite shower room. Each flat contains comfortable en-suite bedrooms with fitted furniture and a shared kitchen. The spacious shared kitchens are well-equipped with appliances and a dining area making them a great communal space for the residents sharing a flat.

Accommodation Guarantee


Prospective students are guaranteed a place in halls if they are:

  • A new full-time undergraduate who holds Reading as a Firm UCAS choice and applies for accommodation by 1 August** and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 6 September of their year of entry*
  • A new full-time postgraduate who has accepted an offer from the University and applies for accommodation by 1 August** and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 6 September of their year of entry*

Premium en-suite rooms

Premium en-suite rooms are organised into flats of eight to 10 bedrooms. Each flat contains comfortable en-suite bedrooms with a 4ft-wide bed, en-suite shower room and fitted furniture. You will share a self-catered kitchen and dining area with other students in your flat. The shared kitchens are spacious, well-equipped with appliances and feature a large dining table which make it an ideal place to eat and socialise with flatmates.

Wessex washbasin room

Studio apartments

Studio apartments are a great self-catered accommodation choice for peace and quiet. You will have your own self-enclosed kitchen and bathroom, making this an ideal choice for couples and mature students.
