Areas of interest
I am interested in non-medical and clinical education, with a particular focus on postgraduate workplace-based programmes. I currently lead the CIPPET team to provide education, training and development for qualified healthcare professionals via a range of workplace-based postgraduate modules and programmes. I coordinate closely with our stakeholders, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, relevant professional regulators, and other national and international Higher Education Institutions. I also work at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a Lead Women's and Children's Pharmacist. I have previously worked at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
Research activities:
My current research activities focus on the experience of clinical practitioners working in academia and the effects of COVID-19 on the resilience, wellbeing and burnout of pharmacists.
I am also interested in clinical education, healthcare education, competency frameworks and resilience. I present nationally on non-medical prescribing, the Competency Framework for all Prescribers and the Competency Framework for Designated Prescribing Practitioners.
