Non-Medical Prescribing

CIPPET offers part-time postgraduate programmes to prepare pharmacists and nurses to practise both as independent and supplementary prescribers, and to meet the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The Non-Medical Prescribing programme is taught through a variety of methods to ensure you get the best from our teaching to boost your career and progression goals.

This programme comprises the equivalent of 26 days of teaching and learning which include taught days, self-directed study time, assessments, and 12 days of supervised learning in practice.

An accredited and recognised programme

The Non-Medical Prescribing programme we teach at the University of Reading is accredited by the GPhC and the NMC.
