Slavery in Britain: Prof Alison Donnell spoke on BBC Radio 4 (Prof Donnell speaks after 7 mins 45 secs) on a show called Britain's Black Past, exploring the story of Mary Prince who lived a life of slavery in Britain in the early 19th century.

Medieval soldier in the family?: Research carried out by Professor Adrian Bell that revealed the names of thousands more soldiers who fought in the Hundred Years War was the subject of a discussion on BBC Radio Berkshire (1 hr 37 mins 40 secs).

Badger scapegoating: Dr Paul Benham's work on TB in badgers and cattle was quoted in an Ecologist feature on badgers being unfairly blamed for spreading the disease.

Henley accolade: HR Future reports that Henley Business School Africa was one of only 17 business schools to achieve accreditation in all five local and international categories in the latest MBA survey.
