Half Term Fun at the Museum of English Rural Life – University of Reading

The Museum of English Rural Life, which is owned and managed by the University of Reading, is holding Fun Events for Families at Half term. Julie Roberts, the Museum's resident artist, will be offering two workshops using different and interesting techniques to produce pieces which link to the Clifford Nickson temporary exhibition of watercolours 'Rural Relics'. The first event, Ink 'n' Things, will be held on Wednesday February 14, from 2pm to 3pm and from 3pm to 4pm. Julie will be showing children (aged seven and above) and adults how to draw using ink, salt and candles. Participants are advised to dress for mess! As places are limited, it is also necessary to book onto this workshop. The second event, Impressive Printing will take place on Thursday February 15, from 2pm to 4pm, when families with children aged six and above are invited to drop in and learn how to print with polystyrene. There is no need to book.
