Visiting the Department
Each year the department takes part in Open Days held by the University. These events are an opportunity for those beginning to think about what and where they would like to study.
Plan your Open Day visit
To help you get the best possible information about your chosen programme of study during your visit to Reading, we would recommend you:
- time when you plan to visit the department(s) for subject specific information, allowing time to attend central talks (on student life, accommodation etc) and for viewing the Halls of Residence and other facilities on campus;
- leave equal time to research your two subject areas if you are planning to study a joint degree.
If you cannot make it to one of our Open Days, the university organises fortnightly campus tours all year round:

We will be holding Visit Days for students with an offer in February and March 2017. You will be send an email about these days after you recieve your offer.
Send an email to languages@reading.ac.uk and we will organise for you to meet staff in the department to learn more about our programmes.
We hope you will enjoy your day!
