The Museum of English Rural Life is a major national repository for archives of agriculture and rural life. Our archive collections may be consulted for free in our Reading Room.

- Business records of firms in agricultural engineering, processing, and farm and garden seed production. In addition, visit the New Technologies section to see details of mid 18th century and Victorian manufacturers based on their advertising material.

- Records of agricultural trading co-operatives.

- An extensive collection of farm business records relating to farms throughout England.

- Records relating to crafts and rural industries, personal papers, and agricultural research.
