Library Building

Whilst refurbishment of the Library Building takes place from April 2017 until Autumn 2019 most of the study space and services have been relocated to the adjacent URS Building. This provides a quieter working environment during the Library Refurbishment Project.

The Library Building is still open! 09:00 - 22:00 in term-time.

Books and other printed material

Most of the books are still located in the Library Building, currently on the 2nd and 3rd Floors. The Enterprise catalogue will give you the floor location and Call Number.

Help Point

Ask at the Help Point on the Ground Floor if you have basic questions about using the Library and finding your books. For any other queries, including Campus Cards, ask at the Information Desk in Library@URS.

Study space

You can find quiet and group study spaces on the Ground Floor, and further group space on the 1st Floor. However, as refurbishment work will be continuing until Autumn 2019, please go to the Library@URS to find quieter study space.

IT & printing facilities

There are a limited number of PCs in the Library Building on the 2nd Floor. Multifunctional devices (MFD) which can print, copy or scan are available on the Ground, 2nd and 3rd Floors.
