Doing your literature search

The two videos in this playlist show you how to prepare for and perform a literature search. The first video introduces literature searches and their role. The second video covers search techniques including: using the search operators AND and OR to create a search statement; and using wildcards and truncation to construct a comprehensive search. This information is also available in our guides to Literature searching and Effective database searching.

If you need to find out if the Library holds a specific article please see our video on Finding an article from a reference.
