Requesting print journal articles during refurbishment
During the Library Refurbishment Project the majority of the Library's printed journal collection will be unavailable. If you are a member of the University and require an article from one of these print journals, and it isn't available online, please place an inter-library loan request and we will obtain it for you free of charge.
Print journals which are unavailable will appear in Enterprise the Library catalogue with a Location: 'Unavailable - request inter-library loan.'
Before placing an inter-library loan request search Summon for the article title to check that it isn't available online.
If not available online, request an inter-library loan in the usual way, but taught students will not require an authorising signature from their tutor / lecturer, or an inter-library loan voucher on the request form. For staff and research postgraduates the cost for these inter-library loans will be paid by the Library and will not be deducted from the Department's inter-library loan fund.
Requests can be made for individual articles, or if you need several articles from the same issue, please place a request for a loan of the whole issue.
The inter-library loan service is not available for External Borrowers or visitors.
