Filming and photography in the Library

Requests for permission to film or photograph in the University Library should be made in the first instance to  Associate Director (Systems & User Services), Sue Egleton.

We always require that any filming should not impact detrimentally on normal Library services (unless specific arrangements have been made in advance) nor on the work or privacy of Library users. Appropriate permissions must be sought from anyone who might incidentally appear in the film.

University of Reading Film, Theatre & Television students should consult us at least two working days in advance and provide confirmation from their tutor that filming in the Library is required for their course.
