Dr Marie Aronsson-Storrier
Responsibilities
Marie is the Programme Director for the LLM in International Law (with pathways); LLM/MSc in Global Crisis, Conflict, and Disaster Management; LLM Human Rights and LLM Advanced Legal Studies. She is also the chair of the Student Experience Committee.

Areas of Interest
Marie's current research explores conceptual questions around the development of international law, with a particular focus on the role of international law in facilitating the prevention and mitigation of disaster losses.
Her forthcoming monograph Publicity in International Law-making: Covert Operations and the Use of Force (Cambridge University Press, 2020) interrogates the various processes and actors in the development and interpretation of international law through the lens of covert operations.
Marie welcomes expressions of interest for supervision from prospective PhD students in her areas of interest.
