CCLFR Research Seminar Series 2019

The Centre for Commercial Law and Financial Regulation at Reading will host research seminars discussing topical issues on various aspects of commercial and intellectual property law between the months of January and March this year.

The CCLFR Research Seminar Series aims to explore the main issues regarding Commercial and IP law and regulation as they concern the appropriate policy intervention to sharing of data, data security and data governance.

Use of brands and copyright issues, piracy and the rights of TV broadcasters, benefits and barriers to FinTech adoption, data privacy and regulation in financial services and artificial intelligence in commercial law are some of the main themes of the research seminar series this year.

Attendance is free. Each of the seminars will be chaired by a member of staff from the School of Law and participants are encouraged to engage in a Q&A session with the speaker.
