My main areas of research are Gender and sexuality Studies, Italian Cinema, Stars Studies, Populare Culture, Television Studies and Queer Cinema. Recently, I have developed an interest in the intersection between sexuality, national identity and Europeanness in relation to the question of homonormativity.
