Barbara Brambilla

Base Section:
Institution Wide Language Programme (IWLP).
Bio:
I was born and grew up in Milan, where I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures and got my first MA in European and Extra-European Languages and Literatures. In 2010 I moved to Reading where I got another MA in Applied Linguistics. Since then I have been teaching Italian as a Foreign Language in various language schools and companies in Reading, Oxford and Newbury and Pre-sessional Courses of English first at Brunel University and then at Reading University. I also hold a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA) and one in Didactics of Italian as a Foreign Language (DITALS level II).
A few personal comments:
I have always been passionate about learning and teaching languages and every time there is an opportunity, I like learning something new. Indeed, sometimes I think of myself more of a student than a teacher. But it is not all about work, so in my free time, I love hiking, travelling and taking pictures and if I am in the right mood, I also like baking.
