Career history

I have had a varied and successful career at the University of Reading starting as a Trainee Technician in 1977 in the Department of Psychology working in laboratories, workshops and management. My last role was to manage the day-to-day technical operations of the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Science, ensuring the quality of service to both staff and students was delivered and enhanced in both teaching and research. My previous role also incorporated effective building management and co-ordination of Health and Safety within the school which involved being a proactive member of the School Management Group. Having had such a diverse career in assorted fields means I am qualified in several technical areas including Engineering, Health and Safety and Management.
