Following the recent government announcement of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in England, several of our services on campus will change from 12 April 2021, in line with the latest guidance.

When using these services, please continue to follow current health and safety precautions, such as maintaining a safe social distance, wearing a face covering and thorough hand washing.

Campus catering outlets

Some of our catering facilities will reopen for takeaway from 12 April 2021.

Outdoor tables will be available at Park House, the Dairy, Eat at the Square and Park Eat, although please note that tables at Park Eat must be booked in advance through the Catering website.

All local guidelines must be followed, such as wearing of face coverings and social distancing measures.

Information on individual catering outlets is available on Hospitality's Summer Term Opening Hours page.

Catering outlets on our Greenlands campus will not open until after 17 May 2021.

The gym at the SportsPark will also be reopening from 12 April 2021. Members will be able to pre-book their gym sessions, individual workout spaces and courts via the SportsPark website, and must exercise alone or with members of their household. Group exercise activities will commence from 17 May 2021.

Face coverings must be worn in communal areas of the SportsPark, but can be removed when exercising in the gym.

In addition, the gym at Henley Business School's Greenlands campus will open on 17 May 2021.

Current work and study arrangements

Although things are starting to change, all current University guidance and work/study arrangements remain in place. Please continue to keep working in the way you have been - if you are working remotely, please continue to do so until further notice.

Further guidance for higher education institutions is expected to follow shortly, and once this has been received, the Major Recovery Team (MRT) will share new developments with all colleagues and students (please keep checking your email and the staff portal for the latest information).

You can find details of all current arrangements in the most recent message from the MRT, Planning for the short and longer term.
