Staff Forum invites you to Discussion Session

The Staff Forum is participating in a Joint Working Group on Workloads (along with UCU and University management representatives) and will be running two Discussion Sessions on this topic with the aim of identifying common themes that could be addressed by the University. HR colleagues will shortly be circulating an online form to give you a formal opportunity provide your thoughts and suggestions to the joint group.

In the meantime, whatever grade you are or whatever job you do, we would like to hear from you

The discussion Sessions will take place on:  

  • Thursday 11 March 12-1pm  
  • Thursday 18 March 10am-11am   

Booking is required and, to give all who attend a chance to share their views on the topic, numbers will be limited to 60 per session. If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please sign up using this form: Discussion Session Sign-up  

If you cannot attend any of the sessions, please send your comments, suggestions or questions to us directly at 

We will summarise the themes emerging from the discussion groups and any emails sent to the staff forum inbox and share this with the joint working group members. There may be further surveys to pick up on specific issues.

Effective representation requires engagement. We want to hear your views and concerns.
