Virtual Visit Day this weekend

Our Virtual Visit Days will be taking place on several upcoming Saturday’s throughout February and March. We are looking forward to welcoming our offer holders virtually on the same dates as our on-campus events were due to take place. The events will take place at the following times:

  • Saturday 6 February – 10:00-13:30
  • Friday 19 February – 10:00-13:30
  • Saturday 6 March – 10:00-13:30
  • Saturday 20 March – 10:00-13:30

The virtual event will follow a similar format to our in-person events. The events will be hosted on Me@Reading, our applicant portal and will include:

  • Programmed live sessions from academic colleagues, student support and service providers using the Microsoft Teams platform
  • The opportunity for visitors to watch pre-recorded material, explore our campus using virtual tours, and find out more through video content and other web material about the University and our courses
  • Live online chat via Unibuddy where offer holders can talk to staff from accommodation, admissions, disability advisory service and student funding in real time. Staff from departments will also be available via the Unibuddy inbox function to answer any questions from offer holders about their chosen course.
