Applications invited for Dean for PGR Studies

University shield

We are pleased to announce that a recruitment process has now started for the Dean for Postgraduate Research Studies and Researcher Development post. This is an existing senior leadership role where the post-holder, Professor Dianne Berry, is about to complete her term.

What are we looking for?

If you have a strong track record of leadership, a genuine interest in developing collaborative and sector-leading practices across our University and demonstrable experience of encouraging greater diversity and inclusion, we would encourage you to apply.

As we embark on implementing the new strategy, this roles require leadership that fosters a culture where colleagues feel valued, are encouraged to continue making positive contributions, are challenged when required and provided opportunity and support to achieve their potential.

Our University is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce and receiving applications from the widest range of backgrounds will help us recruit a diverse and inclusive senior leadership.

Given the under-representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic colleagues in leadership roles, we are particularly keen on applications from these groups. We also welcome applications where a flexible working pattern and/or job-share is proposed.
