Parent and Family Network online coffee morning

Working on laptop with baby

How do you balance work with childcare and other responsibilities?

Over the last few months many of us have been forced to find new ways of balancing work and family life and the concept of ‘flexible working' has become increasingly relevant. But who has the right to request flexible working? What are the different options available? How can you best arrange your working hours around childcare and other responsibilities?

You are invited to join the Parent and Family Network for an online coffee morning all about flexible working on Wednesday 2 December at 11:00. We will be joined by Professors Grace James and Liz-Mari Welman from the School of Law who will talk about the right to request flexible working, and we will also hear from a panel of colleagues who will explain the different flexible working arrangements they use and how they work for them. Following this there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion with other members of the Network.

Everyone is welcome to join us for what should be an interesting and useful session and you can register by filling in this short online form.

You can join the Parent and Family Network on Teams via this link.
