Leadership Development for BAME colleagues

The University is pleased to announce that we are continuing to sponsor places on the following development programmes to support Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) colleagues with their leadership, career and personal ambitions.
Diversifying Leadership
A programme aimed at early career academics and professional services colleagues, up to and below Associate Professor / Grade 8, who are about to take their first step into applying for a senior role or aspire to a leadership role.

StellarHE
A programme aimed at colleagues who are already in a middle to senior leadership position, who aspire to a more senior position and whose role enables institutional change.

Mandala
A programme applicable for both existing leaders and people who are ready to move into a leadership role. It is an innovative, evidence based and paradigm-shifting programme that supports the career and personal development of BAME colleagues seeking promotion into senior roles at Higher Education Institutions.

Application Process
Please read the descriptions of each programme above to decide which is best suited to your needs, as we invite you to apply for one programme only. By applying, you are confirming that you can attend all dates and that your application is supported by your line manager.
All applications will be considered by a panel, whose decision is final.
Applications should be sent to peopledevelopment@reading.ac.uk and the closing date is 12:00, Monday 16 November 2020.
You will be notified of the outcome by Friday 4 December 2020.
