Consultation Survey from the Staff Forum
Tuesday, 21 July 2020
During the consultation period, the Staff Forum have endeavoured to keep all colleagues informed and to provide them with a platform through which they can be heard. It has been listening to colleagues and sharing their views at the Consultation Group meetings.
It has created a short survey for all colleagues, which can be accessed here (log in required) to find out which options you think the University should take forward if required. You can see detail on the options being explored here (log in required).
The survey closes on Friday 24 July at 17:00.
The purpose of this survey is to allow the Staff Forum to gauge how the community is feeling about these options/models, so that we can feed this back during the Consultation Group meetings to help us to work with UCU and the University to find a collective agreement. We want to make it clear that this is not a vote.
The Staff Forum understands that we are still getting information about specific details on the options available and that these models may not be the final options the University takes forward.
The Staff Forum is not representing a collective decision from the survey at this stage, it is aiming to collect information and opinions from all colleagues to help inform the decision of the Consultation Group. As this decision affects all of us we are opening the survey to everyone. Whilst we do not formally represent grades 6 and over we are able to take any information provided through this survey to the Consultation Group.
We know that there are potentially going to be some hard and challenging times ahead for us all. Please know that the Staff Forum is here to support all colleagues and that we’re committed to communicating your concerns and opinions to the University as we navigate the difficult road ahead.
