Online courses on effective remote working and change

Looking to develop your skills in remote working or change?
People Development will be holding four live online courses on remote working, managing and coping with change on Monday 11 May.
The courses are Effective Remote Working, Leading a Remote Team, Managing Change and Coping With Change.
They will be facilitated online and each course will last 90 minutes.
Course details are as follows:
Managing Change: 9.00am - 10.30am
Learn how to plan and manage change successfully. The course will cover:
- Change and the key business drivers
- The 3 responses to change
- The change-reaction curve
- Do's and don'ts of managing change
Coping With Change: 11.00am - 12.30pm
Learn how to enhance your resilience in responding to change. Topics include:
- Exploring your views on change - how do you tend to react?
- Explorations of comfort zones
- The ways people typically react to change
- How to identify your ‘change style' profile
- 10 strategies for coping with change
Effective Remote Working: 1.00pm - 2.30pm
Helpful advice on working from home effectively. Topics covered include:
- How to create a productive working environment for the mind and body
- How to manage distractions, including children, digital distractions and interruptions
- How to maintain personal connections with colleagues
- How to establish a routine that works for you
- How to keep your work and personal profiles visible
Leading a Remote Team: 3.00pm - 4.30pm
Learn how to effectively manage a dispersed team. It will cover:
- The challenges of managing a team remotely
- Qualities of successful remote managers
- How to build trust and cultivate teamwork
- Communication and technology
