Get Heard: training and personal development
Friday, 24 January 2020
One of the benefits of working at a university is the opportunity for learning and development. How easy is it for you to hear about and take advantage of the opportunities available? Do you have ideas for other areas of training or personal development that you'd like to see?
The Staff Forum will be exploring the theme of training and personal development at the next Get Heard session on Tuesday 28 January - please join us at 13:00 in G25, Edith Morley Building on Whiteknights campus.
The session will run until 14:00 and lunch will be provided.
We would be grateful if you could register in advance, especially if you need to state any dietary requirements - click here to register (University log-in required).
We look forward to seeing - and hearing - you there.
Get Heard
Get Heard sessions are designed to instigate discussion and debate on various topics relating to our everyday working lives. They are organised by the Staff Forum, our body of representatives for colleagues within the University.
You can find details of future sessions over at the Get Heard page.
Last month's discussion focused on the theme of communities and inclusion across the University campuses. It was held at London Road, and we talked about ideas for how to improve the sense of inclusivity for staff working at different campuses, as well as issues specific to colleagues based at London Road.
