The Equal Opportunities and Diversity Team provides advice and support on all issues relating to equality, diversity and harassment including:

  • mainstreaming Equality and Diversity practices into all planning processes and functions of the University;
  • promoting best practice in Equality and Diversity;
  • the development and support of the implementation of policies and procedures that promote Equality and Diversity;
  • working closely with Schools and Directorates that support staff and students;
  • supporting staff and students with key projects and initiatives that promote Equality and Diversity;
  • training and briefing key staff on equality and diversity areas;
  • ensuring the University meets and exceeds its legislative requirements.
