Using feedback pro-forma

Standardised feedback forms can address issues that repeatedly arise in students' work without having to write the same things over and over, thus saving you time. You can also tailor these forms to explicitly reflect the learning outcomes associated with the assessed work, which may help students to better engage with the feedback given. In addition these forms are easier to photocopy and keep for records than the whole essay/report containing feedback annotations.

Interactive Assessment Management System (IAMS)

IAMS is an online system for managing coursework that enables both administrative and academic staff to organise assignment scheduling and coursework submission. Students receive a work submission receipt by email to track progress with marking. IAMS was created by Dr Alan Howard, School of Human and Environmental Sciences, The University of Reading.
