Abstract

The design of filters for the 15-40µm part of the spectrum is a challenge because of physical and material limitations. This paper presents the latest developments in this area, based on both multilayer and structured materials, and includes a discussion of filters fabricated for the NASA-JPL Mars Climate Sounder.
