Research projects

Geochemical constraints on the hydrological restoration of groundwater-dependent wetlands in lowland catchments.

A three-year research project focusing on the restoration of lowland fen catchments with nitrate-rich groundwater and potential consequences on nutrient availability and further export to neighbouring water courses. This project is funded and co-founded by the University of Reading and South East Water.

Background

I hold a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Manchester, UK and an MSc by Research (with Merit) in Environmental, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Manchester, UK. My MSc research project focused on modelling the potential scenario of climate damage to peatlands concerning aquatic carbon (organic and inorganic).
