Post-Doctoral working on the TENDERLY project which is part of the Flooding From Intense Rainfall (FFIR) programme. My responsibility is to improve the hydrology scheme of the JULES model to improve the forecast of flood events.

Key Facts:

In collaboration with UK Met-Office, CEH and University of reading, I am working on the JULES land surface model of the Met-Office which is part of the UKV model (based on the Unified Model). I work on the development of a new scheme of the infiltration to improve the amount of surface runoff and infiltration which is actually not well represented in the JULES model. These improvement able to better represent the riverflow and flooding forecast.
