ISO 9001: 2015

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Designed to help organisations ensure they meet the needs and expectations of both customers and other interested parties, it is based on internationally recognised quality management principles set out by the International Standards Organisation (ISO). Campus Services achieved the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation in December 2013 and transitioned to ISO 9001:2015 in October 2016. The most important element of the standard is its regular reviews to keep quality and customer service at the forefront of operations, with continual improvement processes driving the way the operation develops to meet customer needs.

The British Parking Association (BPA) Safer Parking Status, Park Mark® has been awarded to our Pay & Display Carpark, Carpark 1A. An annual assessment ensures the parking facilities are properly managed and maintained and meet the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police. We are currently working on a programme of improvements utilising the Park Mark criteria to ensure our other parking facilities meet the same standard.

ISO 14001:2015

Whilst not directly accredited to Campus Services, we actively support our colleagues in the Sustainability Services Team to maintain the University’s ISO14001:2015 accreditation. ISO14001:2015 places increased emphasis on leadership, commitment, continual improvement of environmental performance and ensuring the University is embedding sustainability into its core business.
