Events Guide

The Events Guide advises colleagues who are thinking of organising a University event. This section contains information about processes, best practices, and key contacts.

You must contact the Venue Reading team in the first instance at info@venuereading.com or +44 (0) 118 378 5657 if any of the following apply to your proposed event:

  • There is a commercial component to the event, such as charging guests to attend
  • You are booking the event for an external individual or organisation.

For similar commercial events planned at the Greenlands campus, contact the Venue Henley team at info@venuehenley.com or +44 (0) 1491 418 810.

Please note that you must notify the Events Team at events@reading.ac.uk or +44 (0) 118 378 6718 if your event is deemed highly strategic - impacting organisational reputation, and/or involving high-profile guests.
