We are excited to invite you to an exclusive viewing of Two Pence Blue, the 2026 Degree Show from the University of Reading Art Department, presenting the work of our final-year students.
This exhibition marks the culmination of their studies, bringing together a wide range of practices across painting, sculpture, installation, video, performance, and digital work.
Join us from 16:00 - 20:00 on Friday 29th May at the Reading School of Art for an exclusive Private View, featuring an evening of performances, music, prize announcements, and speeches.
Encounter blown-up toys in fantastical scenarios, computer games mapping a childhood home, and layered projections of family archives where figures drift, glitch, and dance between past and present. Paintings that slip between figuration and abstraction and unruly installations that refuse to behave.
The attendees will also have the chance to meet some of the artists behind the creations.
Please note some artworks may contain themes or imagery that some viewers may find challenging. Parental guidance is advised for younger visitors.
Public exhibition dates:
11:00 - 16:00 from Tuesday 2nd June to Sunday 7th June
11:00 - 18:00 on Saturday 13th June and Sunday 14th June
