Event Information

We are delighted to host the screening of two films as part of the Our Shared Futures: Climate & Migration Community Film Festival 2025, curated by Counterpoints Arts in partnership with Earth Refuge, CMJ (Climate & Migrant Justice Organising Group), and City of Sanctuary. It is an amazing free cinematic opportunity and creates accessible entry points into urgent conversations that affect us all. For those of you who sign up and are able to join us, we will then be able to give you links to the remaining films we haven’t screened during that evening so you can watch until 30th November 2025. The festival features a curated selection of feature-length and short films from around the world. These films explore themes of climate crisis, displacement, colonialism, conflict, resilience, and hope. They coincide with COP30 and Climate & Migrant Justice Day (22 Nov). Films in the Festival Line-up: • UTAMA (2022) – Dir. Alejandro Loayza Grisi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9Hv7HFDIOc • Thank You for the Rain (2017) – Dir.
