Get into Teaching with the Institute of Education

Considering a career in teaching, but not sure where to start? Come and join our University of Reading, Get into Teaching information evening. ⏰Wednesday 19 Feb, 16:15-17:30. 📍London Road campus. Information talks will be given by academic representatives from the: - early years - primary - secondary programmes.

Choose to attend either the primary, secondary or early years talk and be guided through the different routes on offer, what you can expect to learn and how each course is carefully sequenced to ensure you receive ample support throughout the programme. You will also have the opportunity to find out how we are ensuring our teachers feel confident to teach and embed climate and sustainability education throughout the curriculum. The University Admissions team will also be present to provide details on how to apply. If you are unsure which teaching route you want to pursue, there will be the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the programme directors at the end. This is the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about your course of interest, discuss your options, speak to the programme directors and admissions team and see where you will be studying
