Join us for a singing workshop with professional chamber choir, Sonoro. Spend a day with conductor Neil Ferris, professional singers from Sonoro and the University of Reading choirs to sing choral classics and explore some new compositions written specially for the Choral Inspirations project. This workshop has been designed to both challenge and inspire confidence, and participants will receive expert advice on vocal techniques and interpretation. Participants will be supported by Sonoro singers on each voice part but some experience of reading music is required.
And if singing is not your thing but you like to go to concerts, there will be an informal public performance at 5:30pm performed by Sonoro, University of Reading choirs and workshop participants.
