Café Théologique: Unveiled: Rebel Women of the Old Testament

Date 16 January 2023

Time 19:30 - 21:00

Location ZeroDegrees Bar, Bridge Street, Reading

Event Information

The Old Testament is full of inspiring women who we rarely hear about: who spoke up to change unjust laws, who disobeyed despotic rulers, and who stood between warring rivals to bring peace. Revd Clare Hayns, College Chaplain at Christ Church, Oxford, will speak about some of these women, and her son Micah will share his beautiful images, and the process of creating their book, "Unveiled: Women of the Old Testament and the choices they made".

Café Théologique is hosted by the University of Reading Chaplaincy and is a space to explore contemporary issues from a theological perspective
