Dr Janina Ramirez will be talking about her latest book Femina covering the great women written out of our Medieval History, including Cookham's very own Saxon Queen CynethrythSpend an evening celebrating the excavations at Cookham Abbey which are of exciting national interest with a once-in-a-generation discovery of a lost Saxon Abbey and home of a Queen, as featured on the BBC’s Digging for Britain. 

Leading BBC historian and Oxford professor, Dr Janina Ramirez will be talking about her latest Sunday Times bestselling book, Femina, which reveals those forgotten but powerful medieval women including Cookham’s very own Saxon Queen Cynethryth, the abbess at Cookham Abbey.
