About Estates

Andrew Casselden

Director of Estates

The Estates Directorate is responsible for strategically planning, developing, operating and sustaining the university estate. It is recognised there are strong synergies and overlapping between them, underpinned by the Estate Strategy.

"After our incredible students and staff, the estate is where everything comes to life, it’s the heart of our university, creating sustainable spaces that nurture learning, spark discovery, and make every experience unforgettable."

Our locations

Our estate boasts three exceptional UK campuses—Whiteknights and London Road in the vibrant town of Reading, and the picturesque Greenlands campus in Henley-on-Thames. Beyond these, we offer a cutting-edge Science Park, two working farms, three fascinating museums, a welcoming pub, plus an international presence with our dynamic campus in Malaysia and a satellite site in South Africa.
