Welcome to Reading!
Welcome to all students joining the Study Abroad Programme at the University of Reading (including Erasmus+, global exchange or Study Abroad students who are registered at a non-UK University and not gaining their degree from Reading). We look forward to meeting you during Welcome Week. This week will give you information on how to make the most out of your time here at Reading.
Before you arrive please read the information on the main Welcome Week website, but note that your Welcome Week activities will be slightly different, as it includes dedicated meetings and information sessions specifically organised for you. There will be an electronic Study Abroad Programme Welcome Week Brochure available later in the summer which will be sent to you providing more details, highlighting where the main differences are.
Accommodation
In the 'Journey to Reading' presentation there is a reference to a 'guarantee' of accommodation if you apply by a certain date. This only applies to students who are studying for a full degree at Reading and not those on the Study Abroad Programme. Details regarding accommodation for Study Abroad Programme students can be found in the Accommodation Handbook provided at application stage.
For any queries related to accommodation at Reading, including contracts and housing deposits, please contact the Student Residence Liaison Office at: accommodationonline@reading.ac.uk
