This year RUSU is anticipating that events are going to look slightly different to usual. RUSU is still planning on bringing you a range of physical activities and events, while ensuring students' health and safety is the key priority.
RUSU's cafes, bars and shops will be open, although capacities will be lower than usual and booking ahead is advised. RUSU plan to host some events physically, as long as it is safe to do so and restrictions allow. There will also be a virtual provision to enable everyone to get involved, no matter where you are, even if you are having to isolate or just don’t feel comfortable to attend in person.
Usual club nights won’t be a feature this year, but RUSU will be making up for that with virtual DJ sets from our awesome resident DJs. Quiz and Karaoke nights will go ahead, but aim to do so in a way that allows people to access them virtually too.
RUSU will be encouraging our student groups to set up virtual hangouts and taster sessions, giving you the chance to meet like-minded students and try something new.
