Essentials Student life Exams and assessments 2021 In-person exams

There are a small number of exams that can only be completed under invigilated exam conditions, in-person. Scheduled in-person exams this summer 2021 exams will be held on the Whiteknights Campus.

If you have any in-person exams, you will receive further details from the Exams Team over the next few weeks. This will include the specific time we will be asking you to arrive at the exam venue, what to bring with and what COVID-19 safety measures are in place that you will need to adhere to.

Though you may be nervous about attending in-person exams, please rest assured that we are putting measures in place to make our exam venues COVID-19 secure.

Attendance at exams is compulsory. Students who are absent will receive a mark of zero for the exam unless the absence is agreed on the basis of an extenuating circumstances form (ECF).

Please read our full guidance on in-person exams.

We are continuing to monitor the government guidelines and public health advice in relation to the pandemic and we will be in touch as soon as possible should we have to make any changes to the current plans for in-person examinations.

If you have any questions or concerns about your in-person exams, please contact the Exams Team at examinations@reading.ac.uk.
