Planning your safe return to campus
The autumn term starts on Monday 28 September and you should plan to be back on campus by the time teaching starts for your programme. In most cases this will be the week commencing 28 September. If there are any exceptions to this we will contact you.
We are committed to ensuring you continue to benefit from all that university life has to offer. To provide you with the best possible experience, while protecting your health and safety, we will be doing some things differently this autumn.
We will all need to work together to keep our community safe. When you return, you can expect to see marked one-way systems, designated building entry/exit points and hand hygiene stations. Some rooms and facilities will have new layouts to increase space between people and we are also introducing maximum capacity restrictions in some areas.
Teaching will be through a combination of face-to-face and online activities, to provide you with a supportive learning environment while adhering to social distancing requirements.
Although campus will initially feel different, we will provide opportunities for you to continue your personal development and make your time at university a fulfilling and memorable experience.
We will keep all our measures under close review and adjust as required to align with government advice and the needs of our students.
All students must read our Health and Safety information which outlines the measures we are putting in place and the steps you need to take to protect our whole community.
